In 2006 there will be Dog Racing in NY. I have heard from some people in the know in the political chain that this is a done deal. I have also heard that the dogs that are racing will actually be jockeyed by mechanical monkeys. This sounds absurd but it is now in the final planning process. I will keep you updated.

Real monkeys were actually used as jockeys during the 30's and 40's throughout New England. I remember that they had lots of the old action photos scattered around the track the last time I was at Lincoln.

Bet Royal Customer Service

Opened a small account about three weeks ago and just received my first withdrawl without a hitch. Customer service to this point has been excellent.
FWIW.

A dime in losses at the track in Sarasota was enough for me to see I wanted nothing to do with dog racing.

not a chance in hell.yonkers racetrack is on the verge of getting slots and a 600 room hotel built in the rear parking lot.dog racing in the northeast is on its death bed.you cant get kennels to bring there dogs up from the south during winter racing and most n.e. kennels are second rate.not to mention the animal rights people here would lose their focking minds.

Kind of sad.

Reminds me of the demolition derbies they had at Ebbetts field the year after the Dodgers left Brooklyn.

Uber........... Harness Racing is by far the most corrupt sport ever.

Dogs are lot harder to fix, no drivers, ect
Yes they can play with food a little but very hard to fix dogs

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

Sure, I move away and then they bring in the dogs.

I would have loved to meet Mrs. Dante :) :finger:

I'd go to see monkeys riding dogs, and people betting on it. :biggrinin

Just remember to bet the dog that sh*ts right before the start of the race. Much lighter then the others dogs now.

Someone with no money taught me that handiacapping method. :toothless

That's the "Joe Guerrera" method of capping hounds.
