the highest over under i have ever seen on a college game....

I have seen many in the 60's, some even high 60's, but i dont think i can remember 74 as an o/u...

Not saying it isnt warranted, as Hawaii doesnt have much defense at all, and they love to throw just like Boise state, but still, you can have 2 t'ds and a fg in every quarter and stay under easily.......

And another thing, Boise St. has sure benefited from where they play, and the fact that they play some games on Friday nights.....Now that they are ranked the past couple years, ESPN has just eaten that up....and we have seen them on there more than almost any other team....They get the Friday night spot, or the Late saturday spot, many weeks.....

Not that thats a bad thing, i like the team, and they are fun to watch, that Blue turf has to go, but thats besides the point......just normally a team out west like that, especially in Idaho, wouldnt get that much exposure, no matter what their record is, but they have certainly gotten over that hurdle....

I'm not wild about that ugly field either...First time I saw it about 7 yrs ago, I thought it was unique kinda neat to watch a game on blue turf...But now I'm sick of it, I don't like the Boise coach either, going for it inside his own 30 on 4th down , call me crazy but that reminds me of playing some teenager on Madden Football who drops back 30 yards and throws a bomb on every down... Going for it inside your own 30 on 4th down (IN THE FIRST QTR) is dumb I don't care what the outcome, that's not real football and neither is that turf, lol!

San Diego St- BYU a few years back when Marshall Faulk played. I think the total got all the way up to 81 before it settled a few points lower. If memory serves correct, the actual total was near or over 100.

I think Texas Tech had one in the 70s last year or 2 years ago. Can't remember who they were playing though.

I think the total's accurate, I've bet on the OVER in the 1st half and the UNDER in the 2nd half.

Last season, 8 straight Texas Tech games had a posted total over 70, topped by the Colorado game which closed around 79. 6 of the 8 still went over with a 7th just missing.

Also, last year's Hawaii/Houston bowl game closed around 75. The final score was 54-48.

A few seasons ago, a BYU/Hawaii game closed around 74. The final was 72-45 as Hawaii nearly topped the total themselves.

Obviously a MORE TALENTED Hawaii team than this pile of crap that showed up tonight....what a horrible game....

There are tons of lines that high.

Texas Tech last year had lines of 73, 77, 80, 72, 74, 73, and 73.5 in consecutive games. Hawaii had 3 70's or higher I think.

There aren't alot of teams that have high totals but the ones that do usually have them fairly consistently.
