Hey Picasso, just looking for the basics. % of faves that covered 2nd half only bets and % of dogs that covered 2nd half ony bets. Maybe stats for last year and a diff set of stats for thus far this year in coll and nfl. Thanks Picasso.

I can provide this info but need one clarification. Sometimes a game favorite is a dog for the 2nd half. So, when you say favs, are you referring strictly to 2nd half favs or do you mean teams that were a favorite for the game?

Picasso, strictly referring to the 2nd half line, fave or dog for 2nd half only.

Here's what I show. Games in which the 2nd half line is pick are excluded (which can be quite a few). The 2003-2004 numbers include bowls and playoffs.

2004-2005:

NFL 2nd half favs are 32-54-3
NCAA 2nd half favs are 171-191-15

2003-2004:

NFL 2nd half favs were 100-118-9
NCAA 2nd half favs were 292-348-12
