A long and must read article on FL 2000

Move this article to politics if you must but it seems with the election less than 48 hours away, we will see a lot of crossover into the main forum here.

I read this article and it makes me sick. It shows how the republicans systematically disenfranchised minority voters in FL prior to the 2000 election. It also contains info from Supreme Court clerks who broke theor silence and tell the inside story. I find the FL part despicable.

Jay thanks for the article - The Rx. is letting all (civil) political threads stay Offshore if they are posted there until Wednesday. This means pro or anti threads for either candidate.

The first several paragraphs seem very interesting but I dont think I could finish that whole thing if I stayed up till 5 am....

That's an excellent position given the leanings of the powers that be. Allow me to take this opportunity to wish everyone good luck with their wagers.

As to individual political opinions, thank God we are able express our feelings, regardless of who may or may not agree. May God Bless America, and all other peace-loving nations.
