I am using 5 different books on one computer for my
football action. Is there any thing I can do to keep
them from closing. If I open one and do some checking
or betting and then go to another one when I come
back I must log in again. This becomes rather annoying
when you are checking and playing all day long. I am
a little suspicious of the Gator deal, although when I
was using it I didn't have this problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks

If I understand correctly, you're referring to timeouts which are indeed annoying. Books like Hollywood and Skybook/IIS timeout very quickly. Some books allow longer periods before timing out; others never timeout. Unfortunately, at the user level, there's not much you can do about it.

Pretty decent explanation: Pinnacle lasts well, so does SIA, others time-out after about 5 minutes, part of the game !

Here's what I do!

1) use Opera or Firefox (You shouldn't use IE anyway...the only time I use it is at work and for sites that only work on IE)
2) Set the program up to open all 5 of these sportsbooks for you. Firefox will even make it so you only have to click the login button (it will input login/pass for you)
3) Set it up to refresh every 60 seconds. That should keep you from timing out many places... Some you may still have to login... But again... Firefox will put the pass/login for you.

Keep all the books in Tabs. IE doesn't use Tabs and that's one of 15 reasons why it's inferior. Tabs are a necessary for those of us who do this regularly. The tabs allow you to have 20 websites open all in the same Browser window. So it only takes up 1 spot on your task bar. This may not make sense... If you try it and can't figure it out let me know and I'll help

Thank you, just finished downloarding Mozilla Firefox and it works just fiine.
Books stay open for at least a few minutes, maybe longer.

Should I be concenred with the message that tells me "this is not an
encrypted page and others can view it."

Also, is there a simple way to get my favorites (bookmarks) to show automatically on home page?

Thanks again, this is wonderful, everybody should use it. I

Gator is a big NO NO.

Spyware. Ad-Ware. Malicious Program.

Do a "Google" search.

And then download Ad-Aware SE Professional Edition v1.05.
