Just Wanted To Say Thank You...

I don't tell you guys enough how much I appreciate your posting on this website. Because of the diverse group of gamblers we have expressing opinions, the information provided on these forums is second to nobody.

If I were a newbie looking to send money offshore, I feel the best advice would be to come here and ask our posters what they have experienced.

When I travel abroad, I am amazed at how many different shops have this place bookmarked, starting with Upper management and all the way down to their clerks...

Without this zestpool of knowlege, many of us would be lost.

And even though I have gone head to head with a number of you, I appreciate your contributions immensely. If I haven't told you lately just how much I appreciate your input, then I am sorry.

You are the sharpest group of posters anywhere on the internet and because of you, this place is at the apex of our industry and a must stop for both the recreational gambler, the bookmaker, and the wise guy...

I haven't been here long enough yet but I like the fact that this place isn't based 95% on personal attacks either directed towards athletes or other posters.

After seeing the other gambling sites I thought that was standard operating procedure for gambling related websites. Hope that never changes. Make sure it doesn't!

I said it before and ill say it again the POSTERS on this site ARE AMAZING...very well knowledged and mostly are great guys IMHO
..I have met about 100 of you over the years at the bashes and enjoyed it alot

If he's saying the sharpest POSTERS then yes...maybe he's right. However we all know that most of the sharpest GAMBLERS don't spend too much time messing around with a bunch of squares on internet sites.

Thanks to everyone who made it possible to switch from that awful InfoPop. I don't think twice about logging on here on Saturday or Sunday mornings wondering if I'll be able to get on. It's nice to be able to keep a running total of bets which isn't possible if you can't post your picks.

This board is solid.

Totally disagree!

There are posters here that are the sharpest of the sharp.........and I have known alot of them personally for years.

I did say posters but every wise guy, insider and "beard" that I know uses the computer and specifically, the internet...

Do they "read" more than they post? Absolutely. But they do visit this site for information about sports books that they gamble with. So, in their case, it's not about looking for winners, it's about the safety of their money...

I wasn't trying to be arrogant or negative.

Simply pointing out that many of the sharpest gamblers in the world probably aren't members of this or any other gambling site. And if they are...I seriously doubt they spend much time "posting"

Now... Back to the original statement... as far as gamblers who DO post... Then yes...maybe the RX has the sharpest group of posters than any other site. You'd know better than I would...

I know many guys here that bet over 20k a game and do browse and sometimes post.

The more you bet the sahrper you are period. I would bet a guys picks that bets 10k a game over a guy that bets 2 dimes a game anyday.

Didnt take your post as being arrogant or negative in anyway whatsoever.

However, I do believe you would be surprised at the success of some of the posters behind their posting handles.

Lived in Vegas for 17+ years and like I said earlier. some of the sharpest of the sharp post here at the RX............believe me.

When I first founded this place in the mid nineties, I never dreamed so many gamblers would find out about it. I made so many mistakes along the way, starting with the "NAME" of this place. Who in their "RIGHT" mind would name a gambling portal as a "DRUG HAVEN?"

I also started out SELLING MY PICKS, thinking that was the right direction to go, lol. How quickly I learned that was another big mistake.

The list of errors on my part goes on and on, but for some reason, gamblers continue to come here and for that, I am grateful...

Like I said...this maybe true. The other thing I like about this place that there doesn't seem to be any assumptions made about people. A lot of us don't brag about how much we gamble on each play we make and apparantly some places that makes you a square.

Many people who post on gambling sites aren't honest... But you have to remember...that works both ways. Some guys who claim to make $5000 plays may only make $100 plays and a lot of the guys who don't talk about their plays probably are the ones winning the most.

This place is made great with all the good and bad posters, but it wouldn't be as solid if you moderators didn't respond to our questions as quickly as all of you do! You guys rock. You make this the #1 sports forum in the world too! You guys control this board to a tee! Great job.
