After having tried to work this out quietly for days and weeks I have to make a short post now.
I have played with betbg for a long time and have liked them a lot. Their new software - as many may know - allows to place a maximum bet more than one time (betbg can change the odds in the process).
I have done that several times and have had losing bets and have had winning bets honoured.

Then 14 days ago I placed bets for 10K$ for a champions league game to go u. 2,5 goals scored.

The bets were placed in 4-6 hours.
They were placed in the office hours.
They were accepted by the software and the bookie.
There was no complaint about the bets and why should there be: these were normal bets for me.
After the game the bets were graded winners and still no mail was sent to me.
However 9,5K$ was missing in my account and when I asked why, I was told they had only honoured one 500$ bet because I had surpassed the limit.

So: after having taken on lots and lots of bets betbg take 20 bets for 500$ in the office hours during a period of 4-6 hours, wait till the game is all played and finished and then decides not to honour the bets.

Gentlemen: Could I have your advide please?

Thanks.

From the info given by you, there is no reason why they should not honor the wagers.

From what I hear, there may be 2 sides to this story. Also there may be a history with this customer.

There is a thread at OGD with some of my arguments and some of betbg's.
Is it allowed to post a link?

As regards the winning bets they had several hours to call me and tell me they wouldnt accept the bets.
They didnt.
They carefully waited till the game was over and then - seeing I had won - decided to reject the wagers they had accepted. <!-- THE POST -->

If the scenario was like you posted it, I would have respected your wagers, it would have been our line manager’s fault for not paying attention to the bets coming in, but here is what really happened, you placed the wagers ALL IN ONE SAME TICKET, so it wasn’t in 4-6 hours, it was all of them at the same time popping us 18 times for $500 a piece? <!--QuoteEnd--></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<!--QuoteEEnd-->

Alright: here are some confirmations:

Some of the bets were placed at 11:53 AM:

Oct 20, 2004 11:53 AM (11:57:03 AM) Writer:INETUSR Confirmation
#:041020115351-1
WON STRAIGHT 550/500 $500

129. CSKA Moscow Un 2½ -110 (2-0)

And some at almost two hours later at 01:34 PM:

Oct 20, 2004 01:34 PM (02:15:03 AM) Writer:INETUSR Confirmation
#:041020133405-1
WON STRAIGHT 550/500 $500

All of the bets gave you plenty of time to react and cancel the wagers before the game started (not to mention before it ended).
So please stick to your word and honour the bets as is only fair and let's end this in a friendly manner.

OK?

Also, a few days ago when I called you, I was ensured that you had no idea
that there were any loosing bets for more than the "pr. ticket limit". You told me that you were going to check,
or have Diego check for you, an if this indeed was the case you would pay
me, it was a clear promise on the phone...

The following quote is taken from your website:

1. All phone calls will be recorded. In the event of a dispute all parties
agree to be bound by the recording.

it is your first general rule.

I have already emailed you copies of the tickets showing lost bets and
posted them here, so please stick to your word.

I hope your are not comparing limits in NFL to a Russian soccer game. Do you have an instance where you lost 10 g in soccer?

Am not that knowledgable about soccer, but don't know of any books that takes the same hit in soccer that they do in NFL. Have you lost 10g in soccer before?

The software does not allow me to go back and check. I am not sure that I have lost 10K in soccer. Thats not the point. The point is I have hit the "pr. ticket limit" several times and both lost and won many times before.

I think there may be a difference to hitting a limit twice as opposed to 20 times.Would like to hear other opinions.

The player is setting himself up IMO...Why take the chance that this could happen, why not call it in and be safe?

Why can't books have this installed in their software (limit this sort of thing if they really want)

*If* this has been allowed in the past, it sure seems the book should honor it.

I think BetBG have the right to invoke the bad line rule on this one! The market price was floating around at -160.
