I know of a player who wagered 61k on the Red Sox to win the WS (+1050) while they were down 3-1 to the New York Yankees. He made this wager at thegreek(Olympic). He will be paid every penny after turning a 56k deposit into a cool $1 million.

Now, that is alot of Busch beer. Congratulations to him.

How did he circumvent their limit? According to the website the limit is $500 on items not listed on their chart. I assume they moved limits up but I can't imagine that Greek was taking 60,000 in action on a baseball future. Did he call them and talk them into taking the bet?

I don't have those specifics, but it was done. I assume alot of heavy action on NY and that 61k was a nice little chance to balance some action for Oly. Just guessing here.

Wow a blast from the last. Chef Capone used to get Spiro's stuff....good stuff . Back when the original Z had one open ender every week or 2 that won and covered by 30. It was an autobet no matter what. The good old days.
