Please help, Vegas or Internet

I am retiring soon and plan to make sports gambling as a living. If internet gambling will be here awhile or if not should I move to Vegas

Personally I think internet gambling will be here for a while. You should get sufficient warning (if IG gets in trouble) for you to move in the future. Bottom line advice: stay where you are, play on line, and save a lot of aggravation trying to make a living beating Vegas Strip books. Just my 2 cents.

Texny - you may know all this already - but just imho you need to get all your ducks in a row before you take the final step that puts you in business trying to make a living betting sports. Natrually being retired you will have the time

Be ready to work harder and longer than you did at your normal (now retired from) job.
Have sufficient bankroll in place.
Decide what books you want to fund and for how much.
Get ALL your on line hard and soft ware set up you will need more than one computer imo.
Subscribe to any handicapping services you plan on using (Don Best etc).
Devise a money management plan that suits your bank roll and money needs.
Start slow and have patience - Rome was not built in a day.
Keep some malox in the house.

I am sure I skipped over some important points about getting set up - maybe others will add some advice. (don't take any wise cracks to seriously).

Damn, retirement to this life? That isn't retirement sir, that is a big headache. Yes it can be done, but do yourself a favor and don't call it retirement.

Wil left out one important bit of info. You need to go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy the biggest damn mailbox you can find because you will be sent more sports schedules, tout letters, and sportsbook promo letters than you could ever imagine.
