The Curse Of Shaq?

Excuse the title as i believe the big man can play but
I mean these big spreads Miami will contend with
all year will surely mean doom for all ATS followers
of the Heat. Last year the Heat were gold ATS this
year they will almost be space particles!

How much is SHAQ worth on the pointspread? Can
anyone really define just how much he is actually worth?
The heat last year were 19-6 Home Favs covering the
spread under -6. GOLD! This year with SHAQ i very
much doubt they will be a home fav under six with him.

Don't get me wrong i think SHAQ is good and make Miami
the contender but it just seems to me he is way over
valued on the ATS. Being alot older now and injury prone
also doesn't help. If you like the MIA moneyline fair enough
but ATS looks like a sure way to be shafted this year.

Sounds like alot of people got burned by Wade on the
goaltend but in reality it's not the kids fault. Wade's got
game. Players don't realy care about spreads let's be
honest, on their salaries who would? The kid is young
and wants to make plays, do you really think he knew
the ball was going in or out? I very much doubt it. To
him it was like he was the playground showing out, in
garbage time can you expect anything less? The lakers
won may championships did they cover the spread much?
No.Were they over valued ATS? Yes. Thats because they
don't give a frick about the cover it's just win thats all
that matters! It amazes me how many people get
suckered into high spreads.

SHAQ will maybe take the Heat to the promised land of
NBA finals but by no means does this mean play the
Heat as heavy home chalk just like many did when he
was with the Lakers.

they were god awful for a good part of the season. they started a run to sneak into the playoffs that let them beat a lot of teams with soft lines.

Miami is a very dangerous team

I agree totally they had the soft lines but with
SHAQ a soft line will be like -5 maybe depends
on who they play. My point is do books over
value SHAQ? it's obvious to me they do but by
how much and why? i know he can take
over a game at any time but still.

You only have to look at the lakers now without
him and the lines they get now. Home dogs
to SA?? Road dogs in utah, soft line against
the Nuggets. As much as i appreciate SHAQ
and what he has done in the game no way
should he be so over valued.

MIA may very well be a dangerous team but
as much as i respect them they have to be very
over rated rite now. Should i say over hyped!
Why is it that teams with Shaq don't cover
ask yourself that. Is it because he can't hit free
throws? Can't shoot the jumper? Playing injured?
Why do books put up a stupid over inflated line
and suckers fall for it?

I think MIA for the most part will nurse him
along. The presence in the paint will be enough
to make this team better, the real value lays
betting against these inflated lines.

Shaq is lazy. overrated
