OAKLAND RAIDERS PLUS 7-15 or -20 vs. Carolina Panthers...

Just when you think the Raiders are that bad, they have a tendency to defy logic and WIN in these spots, especially on the Road...

And in case you haven't noticed, the Panthers are terrible...

Sure the Panthers have excuses due to injuries, but in a game between 2 teams of this caliber, neither of them should be favored by more than a Field Goal, much less a Touch Down!

Certainly won't question your pick as you have been doing very well lately. Thought about this game as well and found myself considering Over the total as the Raiders have been giving up significant points lately. Best of luck on this one.

I certainly don't mind anyone, especially you, questioning my picks or giving me your feedback. In fact, I reduced my position on a ballgame a couple of weeks back because of you and it was greatly appreciated since I lost that bet...

I wish I could add some intelligent comments regarding the TOTAL of this game. I just don't have a feel on it one way or the other, so I am passing on it altogether...

Who else do you like today?

I am looking very hard at THE BILLS as well...

SHRINK- The value in the Bills is gone.

A NO play is never a bad bet, thus would suggest you pass on this game considering the current line.

Rather unusually, I have posted 3 plays in the NFL Forum for today. Normally, I only post one. We are now currently in Week 8 and I have only made nine plays too date, going 6-3, so today is a large day for me. That being said, here are my plays:

Pittsburgh Pk
San Diego -6
Baltimore -5.5

Played Pittsburgh yesterday just before the news regarding Staley being re-injured and now today confirmed to be inactive. Have decided to hold my position as feel Bettis can still do some damage against an Eagle defense that is allowing 4.8 ypc.

Got the San Diego line earlier in the week as my first play. Took Baltimore last night as feel that the line will move to 6 by game time.

You are going 3 times above your average, so I suspect you really like these plays.

I heard a meaningless stat which usually plays out well when I hear things like them...

"No team has ever beaten two undefeated teams of at least 6-0 or better on consecutive weekends..."

Stats are made to be broken, so I love that kind of garbage...

Didn't realize that you hadn't pulled the trigger yet on the Raiders and are looking for feedback. I live in the SF/Oak Bay Area and can tell you that the Raiders from Davis, Turner, and down to the players are in disarray following the debacle last week against San Diego. Journeyman asked my opinion of the Raiders before the season started and I told him that they would finished no better then 3rd in the Division and at this point it looks like they may finish last. Don't normally like to recommend anyone get off a play as any play can win, but when a team is in as much disarray as the Raiders, not sure I would place my hard earned money on them. True, Carolina continues to struggle, but just can't see the Raiders coming with a lot of emotion for this game and Collins has 11 turnovers in his short stint as the starter in place of Gannon. Plus, the defense looked like a sieve last week which is why I was looking at the total. It's a pass for me. Whatever you decide, hope it works out for you. Just wanted to provide some local information.

I think you misunderstood what I meant by not pulling the trigger. I have indeed BET THE RAIDERS, but hadn't done so with the Bills...

Your feedback makes sense, but I don't feel the Panthers are 7 points better than Oakland...

I like your RAVENS pick a lot and I suspect it will close above 6...

I've liked the Jets all year but don't care for them in this spot. I don't like road favorites in the NFL. Wouldn't surprise me at all if the Bills came up big here.

I pulled the trigger on the Bills & feel quite comfortable about it... +3-112 (hollywood).

after I saw this post Oakland only at + 6 where I play so I have to pass on that one.....

I did cash with Tulane yesterday....

appreciate the picks.... it is RELEVENT.... I would like to call out on Fishy to share a few more of his aswell.....
