Is it like being the Maytag repairman ?

I was wondering how you choose the name Journeyman ? I thought it was a trade related thing.

Per Webster, journeyman means:

any sound, experienced, but not brilliant craftsman or performer.

It's not meant as an insult. I proudly called myself a journeyman , back when I installed A/C for a living.

To me it meant competent, able, trained, and above average.

Then I saw a thread about music. It seemed you choose the name because you like the band Journey.

So J-man, Which describes you better ?

Yes I was the biggest Journey fan on the planet back in the day, but its been many years now...I use to use the name Journey for my Email passwords because it was easy to remember and when I signed up here it was the first thing I thought of...

At one time Journey was the biggest concert draw in the country, re-inventing the stadium show....But its been nearly two decades now lol....

I'm a big U2 fan as well...

J-man- The Joshua Tree is the best Rock-n-Roll album of all time, imo. All That You Can't Leave Behind and War are two of my other favorites. I didn't care for Zooropa, but Bono admits to being a little out there on that experiment. Pop was unique, but just okay in my book. I recently read a book about the band, but I can't remember the name of it. Bono is definitely in my top 5 of people I'd like to meet someday. What a cool band, and what great music that never gets old. Glad you're a fan too, and I hope they're around for many years to come.

I think Bono is the coolest guy in the world for some reason...

My favorite U2 album would be Achtung Baby, followed closely by Joshua Tree and All that You Can't Leave Behind...

It doesn't get any better than those three IMO...And that leaves off some of their best old stuff.... lol, I actually like some of Zooropa, the title song and "Lemon" , the rest is a little out there...I was happy to see the last album do so well, kind of re-establishing their dominance...

....Go get that live DVD if you haven't seen it

Achtung Baby is loaded from top to bottom, Rob that might be the one your talking about...that album is as good today as it was in 1992...

I have seen U2 about 15 times, its always great...

Rob, no doubt. I listen to War and The Joshua Tree, and think to myself....how in the world was this in the same decade as other 80's music? Poison, Def Leopard, Motley Crew, etc. U2 was so far ahead of its time, and so superior to any other bands out there.
