In That Case You Should Buy A Costume To Look Like A Beer Vendor Or Trumpet Player And Sneak In.

Of Course Back In The Day Tix Were More Reasonable; Nothing Like The 3 Or 4 Dimes For Upper Upper Level Seats Like Scalpers Get For Starters Nowadays.

I get all my tickets on stubhub and ebay. Never been to a superbowl and would never pay the price to go either...but as far as tickets in general go...you can't beat Stubhub or ebay for everyday guys like myself.

the ONLY way I would consider paying is if Pitt went...and that would be a longshot in itself as I would need to get permission from the misses and that has the chance of a snowball in hell :toothless

prices shouldn't really inflate that much based on the teams.... So maybe you should wait it out.

However, I'd imagine that tickets 1 week before the game are very expensive compared to now.

You could go to each of their remaining games for the same price :)

I thought Superbowls were usually sold out way in advance, like a year or 2....?

Maybe i was wrong...I know scalpers and such, u might get tickets, but i thought legit buying of them , they were sold out way ahead of time....

I think season ticket holders to the teams, get a shot, but thats it....

I am not sure if they still exist, but I remember on Ebay some broker was selling rights to buy tickets at face value, but only if the team you bought was playing. I think some teams were selling for $100 or so, plus then factor in the ticket price of $600. That isn't a misprint face value is $600! Of course the broker pockets a lot of money on these as long as he sells a bunch of contracts for teams that don't go. Still a great idea I think for die hard fans who wouldn't want to miss the game.

One more point though, last few years the tix have gone for close to face value on game day due to less than compelling matchups. Just hope it isn't something Eagles and Steelers because that would be an impossible ticket.

Pittsburgh doesnt travel well, and game is in STL which is NOT a resort destination. If your Steelers do get in, Im guessing about 1200 from a scalper on the street for upper level endzone, make sure it is not a Mexican or Black scalper unless you want a counterfeit. EBay is your worse option becasue folks will stand you up in most cases for this big of an event, not to mention the phony bidders making a false market.

Rail, for being a supposed professional broker you are not very sharp. Game is in Jacksonville, lot better spot than St Louis. The Final Four is going to be there, not the Superbowl.

White scalpers with phones always charge twice as much. They try to portray a "corporate" feel for a commodity business.

I just know from experience that they become plentiful when the game approaches Dante. Couple years ago I had 2 tickets to Tampa Bay vs. Oakland, and obviously did a lot of comparing prices that others were selling for, etc.. That's when I found out that they could very easily be attained for the right price. Paid approx. $400 each for mine, but sold them both for $5600 since I sadly couldn't attend..........

Dante, as a die-hard Eagles fan, let me give you a little advice...I wouldn't make a lot of these threads until the steelers are at least in the AFCCG.

Nice game yesterday. Hope to see you in jacksonville.
