I was reviewing the new contract with cbs and fox for $8 billion and they are talking about doing away with MNF and going to a Thur and Sat game instead. Which is best? I think option B is nice.

I guess we could get some sleep on the East Coast on Monday night.....I don't see the Sat thing as most of the targeted age group is tooned in already.....I vote for MNF...we call it an "excuse to go to Hooters."

I just can't imagine no MNG game..although its been a losing proposition financially for ABC for many years....Speaking of MNF propositions, I have got to stop playing them!

the best idea i've heard so far is the flex scheduling idea. gives the networks a chance to cherry pick a good game a few weeks in advance instead of having to schedule them several months ahead of time.

putting the top games on monday night and moving the time back to 8 or 8:30 would work for me.

I would like and have always called for a Monday night game & a Thursday night game every week. Never go more than 2 days without a game.

My dream ... Starting in 2005 make a regular season of 26 weeks ( 24 games ) making the Superbowl to be played the 1st week of April. College football with 9 weeks more ending the 1st week of March. College basketball march madness to be played In April. Baseball start in May immediatly after the end of April Madness and finish in late November, NBA start after the world series that's in december and finish in mid july. College basketball start in late december and finish with the April madness. NBA all star game to be played in March on the Sunday prior than the Superbowl when there is no NFL ( one week after the NFC and AFC championships ). Baseball all star game to be played in late July. NFL preseason in August. A personal dream that will never happen.

Even a Saturday night game like REGULARY happens in december so why not extend that from the start of the season??? And No more than a few months without foot!!!! HALF A YEAR IS TOO MUCH!!!!!! More football will ONLY BENEFIT EVERYONE, EVERYONE!!!
