It probably doesn't and dies. C-rate celebs, and watching BJ is boring anyway. I've managed about 2 minutes of watching it. Hell it's almost boring to play, even counting. The only excitement is winning and getting heat from the pitboss. I smile at them, like a guy in a cheap suit staring at me, is going to faze me ! I act drunk, ( usually am) but the count is on auto-pilot.
It's like getting hustled in 9-ball ( the hustler lines the long shot up ( if he's a friend) looks up at you, smiles, while he pockets it.). Hopefully that only costs a Heineken. That's what I feel like when playing BJ. I'm very aggressive, and bet recklessly, I taunt them in Vegas, then come back 2 years later.
It's great fun, I don't strive for longevity. I push their buttons, have a great time, and disappear. I love places like El Cortez, Western, old Horseshoe, GN, GG, etc. I pull of going from $10, to $50, To $5, to $100 ( or more), switching amounts of hands ( 1,2,3 etc.). Newbie dealers. I've been thrown out of Binions dozens of times. I used to live in LV.
Watching Bobby Brady play on TV doesn't do it for me, not even the Fonz.
