There is a very common football prop but it is worded 2 different ways:

Will one team have 3 consecutive (or straight) scores?
Will one team have 3 unanswered scores?

Those don't actually mean the same thing. Not literally. I have always taken it to mean "3 unanswered scores" no matter what - and have never gotten burned for that - but Intertops makes me nervous because their prop goes on to say, "must be on consecutive drives." So I wonder if some other books actually mean that.

Just wondering if you guys always take it to mean "3 unanswered scores" or if you know of some books that actually mean what Intertops is saying.

Never have seen intertops explanation.

The only clarification I have seen is the conversions (extra point or 2 point) do not count towards the 3x.

Other wise its any teams to score 3x before their opponent scores within that time frame.

Always best to call and get itontape or email if you are concerned.

is the intertops line set the same vig? have youseen that prop at two different books on the same game?

id think that scoring 3 straight in a game either team is way easier than scoring 3 unanswered, I could be wrong. especailly in a high scoring game, both teams could to it very easy.

Hi Guys,

Its nice to know that you are taking such a keen interest in our NFL Props. But I would like to correct Groucho on his

last comment.

Intertops' "Will either team make 3 Consecutive Scores?" Prop has the wording " Scores need NOT be made on consecutive drives". Check out the offer we have posted just for you guys on Sunday Nights game in Foxboro.

To make scores on 3 Consecutive drives would be nearer to a 10/1 or 12/1 chance. NFL Defenses ain't that bad

(Indianapolis excepted)

Its also interesting to read what Trytrytry says about high scoring games having 3 consecutive scores. Check out the box scores for the last 20 Superbowls and you will find that one of the few 'bowls that didn't feature a team making 3 consecutive scores was the San Francisco / San Diego bowl and that was the highest scoring Superbowl in history! If it makes things crystal clear, we can add the word "Unanswered" to the prop, no problem. Also, if anyone has any other comments regarding our NFL props, good or bad, I would be happy to hear them.

Regards
