On Nov. 11, the country honors all the men and women who have served in the armed forces. Veteran's Day is Americas way of saying thank you to the men in women who have served their country in the time of war.

Would like to add my thanks to all who have served and/or are currently serving in our armed forces. One simple man very much appreciative of those who have given so much for so many. My prayers go out to all currently in harm's way and may those that have past, rest in peace. Thank you.

Dante, I am a Desert Storm Vet and join you in thankin them all. What I did was nothing. My grandfather was a POW from the Battle of the Bulge who was rescued at 90 pounds win we over took Germany. He was a hero who fought til he had no more ammo. While he was still alive he still thought he shamed himself for surrendering. Helluva man.

If not for our fine men and women in the services, past and present, we would not enjoy all our freedoms that so many take for granted.

Thank you.
