4 Bad Beats In 48 Hours????!!!!!

It's times like these that make me question whether I have the personality to endure significant changes in my bankroll due to BAD BEATS!!!

On Monday night, I lost not one, but TWO NBA UNDERS that went into overtime, costing me TWO easy WINS had these games ended in regulation.

In Fact, one of those games went into DOUBLE OT in order for me to lose my UNDER bet!!!

Then, last night, I lost yet a 3rd NBA UNDER due to OT, and if that wasn't unlucky enough, I bet Lousville minus 9.5 for the second half of last night' s College Football Game...

Lousiville outscored TCU 28-7 in the 3rd quarter, and appeared ready to ice my bet with a 26 yard Field Goal with around 5 minutes left in the game. That's right, just a meager 26 yard field goal would have won this second half bet for me, but it was blocked and then TCU marched down the field and scored a second TD in the 4th quarter with only 53 seconds left in the friggin game!

Any suggestions guys?

Shrink those are bad beats ....

how about NO wagers for 2 days ...a small break to clear your losing streak??

suggestion:

keep a notebook with two columns in it.....

-one column has all of your 'lucky wins' (for example if you had had the overs in those games).

-2nd column has all your 'bad beats'.....

***See if they equalize over time***

Don't sit back big guy! Send it in once again tonite, your luck will change. Staying away from totals maybe though. Double your bets tonite and watch yourself collect!!

Perhaps you are right and I should take a couple of days off. But despite 4 BAD BEATS, I am virtually even for the past 3 days. However, I was basically counting ALL of them as WINNERS, so emotionally I am drained.

One or two I could handle, but 4 is ABSURD in such a short time period!!!

Can trully understand the advice that Dante has stated.........and for some bettors it is 100% and more the right prescription.

However, for a seasoned bettor like THE SHRINK, taking a couple days off is not in the cards.

Taking time off for family affairs, health, etc., is fine..............but to take a couple days off becase of a few bad beats is absurd IMO.

Personally, I dont recall the last day that i never wagered on something.

Understand as stated, I have no family, good health, etc., ........so no reason for me to sit idle.

EVERYDAY presents a new oppurtunity of profit potential.

I forgot to mention that I had the NEW JERSEY NETS PLUS 8 1/2 last night against the Sixers. That game went into OT but thankfully, they only ended up losing by 108-100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :hammerit

Had that game also not covered, I'd have jumped off a BRIDGE by now for sure...

You're lucky you broke even for the week! Would've been alot different if you needed those games to get even and lost them that way. All in all a bad beat sux never the less having 3 or 4 in 30 minutes. Good luck on your next few plays might put you over the edge with a few more bad beats this week!
