Thepig had not played offshore for a couple of weeks, last night thepig posted with wwts only to learn that they would not take pigs parlay on Louisville-24 and over the total 67.5. Thepig then played parlay Lville-24 with Suns-4.5. Thepig can handle a badbeat here or there but this has adifferent flavor to it.
Wwts says they no longer take parlays on teams laying more than 18 with their own over. Thepig believes that this is horseshit. Can people explain to thepig if other books do this? especially on a lone game like this last night for cfb, what the hell is a player supposed to play? Please respond, as thepig would like to learn more about this. Godspeed, thepig.

Piggy, WWTS IMO has gone down hill big time the last few years. They've become so business oriented its sickening.Kind of reminds me of some of the casinos in Vegas that dont want to pay 1.5 on blackjack. If they dont have a big enough profit margin on a certain bet , you cant bet.Last week they came here (The RX) and advertised a new prop with a 4 year hold with the sickest odds I've ever seen.4 year hold.1/5 odds on candidates. What a joke.Theyre horse money goes into the pools-and if your considered sharp your limits are limited. If they did what you claim last night take your money out and go somewhere else. You dont need that type of BS-I did

Books have to protect themselves from correlated parlays. Any book that takes parleys on a big NCAAF favorite with the over, a big NCAAF dog with the under, or a big NFL favorite with the under on a low total will be in long term trouble. Same thing for soccer draws and the under, baseball runline dogs with the under, ...

Daringly. what you say is all fine and dandy, but the point is they (wwts) change their rules and I don't know about it until they have my money. (maybe they should e-mail info about a huge rule change?). Two weeks ago I am losing my ass on many of the same plays, but now when I was going to win one, they say I can't play it. WTF! Does nobody else have a problem with this?

There's nothing worse than a pig who refers to him/herself in the third person.

Thepig does not need the commentary from docdekay. Thepig is trying to get some answers as to what other books do.

stop talking out of your ass, go ahead and parlay those situations you stated and I bet u still lose, you make it sound like it's guaranteed winner.

If you play these situations long-term, you are going to win. There are lots of other ways to win also, but correlated parleys are dangerous because the holds you can hit with them are higher than the EV a good computer model gives you in a sport, and easier to find.

A good program will hold 5% long-term in any major sport. A great program will hold 10% (more in NFL, less in MLB). These are far and few between. But anyone can play the big dog and the under, and your hold % will be much as any computer group. Two things stop parley players though: books wising up and disallowing it, and normal reduced limits for parleys.
