Who woulda thunk it. But I guess the stakes are fairly low in Bingo as well as the hold. Don't know.

Please don't be confused with Bingo in Vegas and Online Bingo. The hold much larger for the house.

The reason I brought this up was a few days ago a few posters semi-questioned if BINGO was a trully beatable game longterm as I had mentioned..........which it is.

Here is how.......

1. Find casinos with low customer turnout as you will be instanly in many cases be playing a positive return game.

2. Use AUTOMATIC bingo cards as to avoid missing any numbers.

3. Play at casinos offering mega progressives.

4. Playing promotional events.

Most of my wiseguy friends and myself have all profited from the Vegas Bingo scene over the years that I spent in Vegas.

You may be wise to check it out........especially if you have a spouse or girlfriend that allready likes to play Bingo anyway.

You can kill two birds with one stone............make money and make the litte lady happy.

Now that is good info (seriously). If you are sitting home trying to grind a profit like fish and you have a cook who likes to play bingo, I can see an advantage when finding edges as Fish mentions. The learning never stops.

I would research those Bingo numbers over the last 20 years. I think the numbers might be a bit askew due to some big payouts. I seriously doubt the HA on bingo is .81% long term. I think you will find it is closer to 7-8%

I agree with you Fish,

I've won most of my cash at live bingos. Hit a nice run and made 10G in a 3 month period.
Tried the big Mohawk Bingo twice, lost first time (spending $100), went back a few months later and hit the Super for 4G....not too bad for a few hours.

If only these numbers were remotely close for online casinos...they might be worthwhile to play for fun.

Maybe someone can agree or verify this....

I have played hundreds and hundreds of hours of rated play of BJ in Vegas. This at a level of 300 and up.

I am here to tell you that this figure for "Win percentages for the casinos based on the drop" is a major JOKE!

There must be some element of fraud introduced into how the Nevada State Gaming Board makes these calculations.

I will kiss anyone's ^ss if the true figure is not at least 8 times that figure.

(I am sure you all know that the amounts of cash deposited by casinos on a daily basis is a very closely guarded secret!
Not because they are ashamed of how SMALL the deposits are!)

all of the numbers are about where they should be with the exception of Wheel of Fortune and Bingo. That tells me that this is short term and not long term

What I am saying is.....

What I am saying is....

These numbers are not at all what they are said to be.

Maybe mathematical expectations based on some level of basis stategy or whatever. They are numbers the public can accept and feel warm and fuzzy about. They are a HUGE stretch of the truth through some sort of "flexability" the Gaming Commission must have to lie and represent it as the truth. No doubt in some sort of half-assed way these numbers satify Nevada law. Do you know much about Nevada law? (Hint... It was probably much more equitable when the mob ran Vegas!)

The true "HOLD" (of all the money brought to the table... the % they end up keeping at the end of the shift) is nowhere close to 2.55%.

I said 8 times higher (20.4%). I expect it is even a higher percentage than that.

Help us out Fish.

This is about house advantage and not hold which is what you are talking about. They are apples and oranges. A 2.5% house advantage means that for every $100 you bet, you will get back $97.50. Hold is what the casino will get from you when you are done gambling. If you buy in for $1000 in chips and you walk away with $600 then the hold was 40%.

I read somewhere where average casino hold is about 40%.

Thank you WVU.

Your comment proves my point.

"Win percentages for the casinos based on the drop."

This statement describes "HOLD", and the text indicates that. However the numbers they provide are clearliy based that of "House Advantage".
:pucking:
Very misleading and probably intentionally so!

**VERY IMPORTANT**
Not criticizing Fish at all, as he is "The Man". Only pointing out the deception and greed so central to the Vegas system.
