More disturbing is the way odds are expressed on parlay cards in Las Vegas. Practically every card in the city uses the construction "6 for 1" ("12 for 1," etc.), which means 5 to 1 (11 to 1, etc.) and serves no purpose other than to confuse novices and suckers. With very few exceptions, no one in the legitimate gambling world actually uses that kind of terminology, unless you consider crooked carnivals part of the legitimate gambling world...........Jeff Haney--LAS VEGAS SUN

But the parlay cards actually pay better than off-the-board parlays when it comes to 4, 5 and 6 team parlays (and maybe 7-10 teamers), not that I recommend playing them!

they used to print those cards on tuesday or wednesday...sometimes you could find a few lines that moved and try to bang a 3-teamer.

Funny you should bring that up, as I was caught manipulating the odds and lines on parlay cards at a couple Vegas shops and was asked to stop or be banned from the property.

Understand, was doing nothing unethical or illegal.
