WTF!!?? Sports Illustrated putting too much crap on the cover..What happened to anice picture without all the words all over the front!?

As a kid I use to anxiously await and try to predict who would be on the cover...the cover though, really has changed for the worse...

I guess they have to advertise whats inside more than ever, that would explain all the words all over the front of it, as newspaper and magazine sales continue to plummet....The whole world is a freaking advertisment anymore!

The same reason why when you watch live coverage of the news they have so much crap cluttered around your screen. People like that stuff. Maybe not YOU...but when they do focus groups... This is what people say they like.

World Runner- Are you sure people like the crap cluttered all over the front, or a nice photo without words covering it up? I think its more what SI wants, so they can advertise what's inside to try and sell the magazine.
