requested a cashout in May... stall after stall after stall after stall. Scott (who is not gone) gave me excuse after excuse. They finally sent me a check on 10/5 - 5 MONTHS LATER - but in the fedex envelope was a letter with no check. They've spent over a month making excuses with bank delays etc etc saying they can't issue a new one. This is upper 4 fig cashout.

i was told that Account specialist Dominique and Scott have both recently left Bet Royal.

Talk to KEvin at Bet Royal.


If this payment thing is tru it stinks but please let the mods have a look and a phone call before the bashing starts. Give them 3 or 4 days on this to report back.

wow how many hits will this thread get in the next 24 hours?? 900?

I believed i talked to Kevin

He said he'd look into it and get an answer to me - 2 weeks ago - but support today said he hasn't heard anything and they are still waiting. A month to figure out that they did not send a check?

assassin i have nearly 900 posts and have had maybe 1 or 2 problems in 2-3 years. Considerring i have post up at about 30+ books this is bound to happen.

Before this gets out of hand...FedEx Tracking Number *******. Delivered on the Oct. 5th at Players doorstep. Check number and routing: **********. The check is executed on Oct 1 2004. The amount is $8840 dollars and 0 cents. I will be more than happy to place the scanned copy of the check here as well if requested. We are currently awaiting a status report from the Giro Bank as to the actions on or against this check. There are three banks involved in this originating with the Giro Bank locally, their International affiliate, and an issuing bank in the USA.
When we have an answer from the bank with regards to the actions against this check, we will provide them to Areef with extreme pleasure. We have never and will never deliver an envelope without the check.

Yes we all realize that there is some May to November delay isses, in this but bottom line is looks like this gent was paid or very much tried to get paid.

THe reason richard came here was

His support wouldn't transfer me and i told them that i was going to post here. I assume thats why richard posted here.

Also that fedex is not my current address but why is richard posting personal information like cashout and amounts and tracking numbers revealing information. That is my address of 2 years ago of a property my brother owns that i used to rent. Royal did not update my address as i told them to(scott did not at least) in addition to their other incompetencies. I was given the fedex fully sealed and when opened there was no check. Just a letter.

Richard why can't you explain why it took you from MAY of 04 until OCT of 04 to cut a check?? 4+ months? still ridiculous. And a month to find out it hasn't been cashed?

Always good to know who you can trust with your personal information.

Edit: I see now Royal had no customer authorization to post specifics about his account, and address. What a complete lack of respect for a customer.

Your check was requested Late Sept not in May. I have documentation on this as well. You brought this here, so now I have to post the relevent information. That tracking mechanism only shows the City delivered and the details of what the FedEx rep did at the time of delivery i.e. get signature, or leave the package at the doorstep. Therefore not disclosing any pertinent personal information. Please keep this professional if possible including the vulgarities toward our clerks here. They are doing their best to assist you with a difficult situation. As soon as I have the information I will supply it to you ASAP. In the meantime I will not issue a second check without a garaunteed location on the first one, as at this point a stop payment order does not garauntee the check has not been drawn on already.

This check was requested In May.. I cashed out.. talked to scott. he said it would be on its way. His extension WAS 1625.. 2 weeks later my balance was back in my account. (YES all my documents ID, etc were on file). so i cashout again.. Talk to scott.. he says i'll be paid.. about 2 weeks later my balance is in my account AGAIN... this on a similar cycle until you FINALLY claim payment in october.. This wasn't a situation where you just run to the RX with a problem. I let them pull their bullcrap for a long time before finally being fed up.


And now that i look at my database it was you Richard who i spoke to last time after your clerk was an ass, which i had to be an ass, to even get you on the phone. Your support did not want to put anyone on with half a brain. Your extension is x1620 according to my DB which matches your post. You promised me that night 2 weeks or so ago that you'd have an answer by monday.. Still no answer..

If I were Royal, I would give this guys name to every book out there so they can avoid being scammed by the *******.:finger:

We will have an answer for you as soon as we get it, then we will give you a new check if the previous one has not been drawn on. Trust me when I say that I want this to be resolved quickly. I have no account records of any withdrawal request or removal of funds, and the subsequent replacement or reversal of funds back to your account. I can post that as well at your request. We requested the response on your check from our bank the day following your initial phone call and at this time as well. We will act accordingly once presented with that information.

All I want is this resolved

There's nothing much more to say... If scott still worked there or if there was a way to reach him he could confirm a May cashout since he was my point of reference. Otherwise all i can do is wait and follow up so you cannot make any more excuses now that this is on a public forum . I dont mean you specifically, but i mean Bet Royal as a company.
