I don't have one, but a very health-conscious friend of mine does. He swears by it and is very happy with it. Go for it.

Judge your better off joining a gold gym or health club by you...I love where I go...that way when you lose interesting in the boflex it does not just become a expensive laundry hanger ;)

Dante,I have alot of romm in my house. Have stayed with the cardiovascular thing for over 6 months, So think if I start a little weight training,I'll stick with it. For me joining a gym would be a waste. I KNOW I would never go.

Judge,

It all depends on your goals, but free weights are the best way to go.

A big part of toning is balance... And you won't get that from a machine. Bowflex is a joke... hit the gym, Jack.

bowflex will help you tone up, but free weights are better for even toning up. There is nothing better than free weights (other than cosmetic surgery :toothless ). The most important thing about getting ripped, etc. is diet. Diet is where most people go wrong. A good diet and weight program will get you in shape over time.

Oh, and if you are looking to lose excess fat you MUST do cardio as well.

this is such a dumb idea/concept.

if i had a body one would get from a Bowflex - the LAST place i wanna work out is at home! i wanna work out in the gym so the hot babes can see my impressive body and soon we can both examine each other's bodies with our tongues and other body parts!

What a bunch of crap.

Why not post your thoughts instead of just disagreeing with mine? If you want to get ultimately ripped, you need to do cardio. Plus, if you do it all with diet, you are probably going to eventually gain it all back. It has to be a proper balance of nutrition and exercise. Starving yourself in order to lose weight just isnt healthy. If you think I'm wrong, please post your thoughts instead of saying mine are just a bunch of crap. If you are going to criticize, you should open yourself to criticism as well. By the way, I'm sitting at 7% BF. What are you at?
