Wow, have times changed. I remember the Motown Meanies backhanding the 6-1 favored Lakers into submission. The West was no longer the best. All the talking heads spewing their authorative opinions on how the East had caught up with the West. Well guess what? You have been misled again. What's new, The Lakers can't lose, have the trophy presentation now. The fickle ones jump faster than a frog in a frying pan. Now they should start jumping back again. The Leastern Conference has these teams, I think they are supposed to be the best of the conference, at least that is what I am told. We could start with Motown. What has happened to Detroit? A little downsizing, can't afford that quality bench anymore. Coach Brown having trouble motivating troops from a distance. Not many other teams throwing aroung coach Heard's name. The great defense? Was that a season ago we saw that? Gone. Poof. The Motowners got a title by default, by being the hot team at the right time, with a weakened Western team. My pal David could not have been happier. The conference competitive questions were becoming annoying. They will get coach Brown back, they will have the nucleus of a championship team. But this nucleus is not the Chicago Bulls Mike and Scotty nucleus. Nope, Pistons get the title, "One Year Wonder" from me. The runner up Pacers. Same old excuses. Hurt, Artest is a flake. Let's see, just last year Pacers telling everyone how great Ron has become. Now he is a detriment to the team. Which is it? Pretty confusing to me those mixed signals. I could read them better if they were smoke. But from the rumor mills say, Ron is gone. The camel's back was broke. The shark jumped over the tank. Goodbye Ron. The injuries are bad luck, but oft injured players get injured. Pacers has a team of oft injured players. Or suspended players. What was the mood at Conseco when the powerhouse Clippers visited? I would think somber. Was this the team who had the best record in the league? Last season. They appear to be in huge trouble of repeating that, and as far as title hopes, close to hopeless as you can get. Now, the new tough guy bully of the block, the Heat. Shaq defects from West, now East, no wonder the East is close to the West. But so many guys went to West for Shaq, Heat have a few less degrees in depth. And unless Eddie has one of his once a season games, have trouble finding a reliable third scorer. Shaq is a monster when healthy, we go back to oft injured, but even he cannot shoulder the entire frontline. Wade is a gamer, but they are lacking in a few areas, defensive rebounding and perimeter defense. Mavs without Finley made a beat the Heat video for the rest of the league. So that's it. The top 3. And do we have some dogs. But don't get me started on the Hawks. The West got watered down from a Leastern team defecting. The Hornets. Maybe they can sting the Hawks, one of these losers has to win.

Best Wishes...:howdy:

As long as the refs continue to assure ATS records are level then the money is there to be made and never a need to care who is where or what is where in the NBA. Players do as they please and play when they feel like it. National Boring League, but nice to make a few dollars.
