Even though I am not a Jets fan I am rooting for Quincy Carter to have a big game on Sunday when the Jets host the Baltimore Ravens. A lot was made about his departure from the Cowboys, hopefully Carter can put all that behind him and get his career back on track this week.

Yes. I'm rooting for a Raven loss. That will be key in the highly unlikely event of the Bills making the playoffs.

We have a better chance of Bush telling the truth than we do seeing the Bills in the playoffs, but like my friends Patriot and Blight -- I too keep the faith.

Not at all. Brooks Bollinger, the Jets' backup to Quincy, was a High School star in my hometown in North Dakota. I want to see him get his shot in the NFL!

He was one grade off of me, and from my rival high school, but still. :howdy:

I live now in Decatur where Cater went to high school and his high school coach has nothing to say but good things about him.

I think he is basically a decent guy who made two mistakes:

- Like some other football players he played minor league baseball untill he figured he couldn't hit a curve ball

- He obviously popped positive on a piss test - hopefully he learns from this and goes forward to be productive in his career and in his life

Mudbone gets what I mean. I hope to see Carter get his life and career back on track again. I thought that both Jerry Jones and Bill Parcells came off as pompous when they said the decision to let Carter go was an easy one. Maybe he did fail a drug test, plenty of others have and get a 2nd chance. Now Carter has his chance to make Jones and Parcells look like fools as the Cowboys scratch their head about how to put points on the board. Could really care less which team wins this game otherwise.

I am however a big fan of anything that will get the Buffalo Bills into the playoffs. Hopefully the Bills and pats can hook up soemwhere along the playoff Pline. That would be sweet.

Buffalo not nearly as far away as they look....then again who is anymore?

Besides Arizona of course...

Remember in the old days New England would always stun Buffalo once a year , when New England was horrible, they always found a way to beat the Bills... Maybe Buffalo can do it this week...

Arizona is 3-5
Buffalo is 3-5

Buffalo has 7-1 and 6-2 ahead of them in their division

Arizona has 5-3 and 4-4 ahead of them in their division

Wil-including Buffalo in that list is wishful thinking at best

Didn't the Giants start off 0-4 or so when Fassel guaranteed they'd make the playoffs?

Well, I'm going to make a bold prediction and guarantee that New England kicks the crap out of us. Their defense could easily out-score our offense.

Belichek said it best, "[the Bills] line is horse sh|t".
