What is going on in Idaho?

Who woulda thunk it - Gambling in the state of idaho.:EEK:

GARDEN CITY, Idaho -- Idaho State Police investigators said they seized about 50 illegal gambling machines in a raid of 13 bars across the state, most of them in the Boise region. The search warrants and seizures came after a yearlong investigation. Officials said they were tipped off by family members of gamblers who allegedly frequented the bars.

What I don't understand is why it takes a year to bust 13 bars in Idaho. Do they wait and accumulate more money being paid or taken in so the charges would be higher. why not bust them right away. One year investigation in Idaho,lol. Also it takes family members to turn these places in??

Do you know if they confiscate all of the money? Could this have been drawn out so long to increase the city's pay day?

Absolutely, probably wasn't enough in the taking so they had to wait a year to pad their pockets plus have a legitimate bust IMO. With Christmas coming up you'll see more types of these busts to pad their pockets for Christmas.
