I got an email from Rio regarding my (nonexistent) Skybook account

A few weeks ago, I signed up with Betrio (mainly because they seem safe, and I enjoy usiing PPATM as a deposit/withdraw option.)
So, I sign up, ect....a bit later I receive an email from Rio, however, the subject of the email was "information regarding your skybook.com account)
Huh?
At the time, I was unaware skybook and betrio were one in the same. Plus, judging by the email, I assumed I created an account at skybook. Logged in to skybook, tried to access via my new username and password - Nothing!
So obviously the username / password sent to me was meant for my betrio account....so why did it refer to my Skybook account???
At this juncture, I'm wondering if I got caught up in some sort of scam.
What really irritates me is that Friday I emailed RIO with my concerns, and the company never replied. A simple explanation and an assurance that my account was safe and legit would have prompted me to deposit this weekend. As it is, I am left wondering WTF!!!!!

Instead of coming in here and flaming a fine sportsbook like RIO/SKYBOOK, why did you not just call their toll-free number?

You have an account at RIO

You are not being scammed.

Your username and password will work for RIO, why wouldnt you try it there and only at Skybook?

Damn, chill out there, Fishhead. I wasn't "coming on here flaming anyone." Simply looking for answers. Like I said, I emailed them with the concerns on Friday, and didn't get a reply. Rather than continue pursuing customer service, I simply choose to move elsewhere.

Not sure why this posting was moved, and no idea why on earth you chose to defend rio and bash me in the manner you did?????? I understand that I probably do have an account at Rio. I just don't understand why they would create confusion by sending me an email regarding my "skybook account"

Sorry to ruffle your gills there, fishy......I thought this site was created in part to help the betting public - not to bash them when they post a rather legitimate concern.

Again - I really don't understand why this post was moved. This is not a "dispute with an RX advertiser" BY ANY MEANS!!!. I have heard nothing but positive comments regarding RIO, which is why I joined.

If anything, I would hope my emails to them and my posting on here would help RIO management understand the possibility of confusion over such emails. Not every offshore player reads RX or other such forums. To the unaware, an email from one book regarding an account at another book sends up immediate red flags.

Guess expressing a WRONG opinion is frowned upon by those in charge here.

RIO/SKYBOOK is a top shelf book.

If you have any hint that you may have a problem, please call them at 1-888-SKY-BOOK

It is a free call and they have outstanding customer service.

I would highly recommend them for baskets with their free half point offer.........great offer.
