i was going to say tyson, but the guy has such huge financial problems he has to go on.

which is why i said tiger. he is one of the 5 richest athletes in the world, he says he is chasing masters but the guy hasnt played a solid 4 days of golf in about 2 years. the difference is before he practiced his butt off but now i am fairly certian he spends a lot of time with the swede

Jerry Rice is the no brainer, but isn't Kevin Willis still playing? Guy I wish and most others agree should retire is Gary Bettman. Who else's legacy will be a bunch of broke teams and a missed season or two of a sport?

I was gonna say Bledsoe, but so far all are great examples. Funny thing though, last year I may have said Emmitt Smith, and he is having a good year in 2004.

yeah they are all great answers.

I wasnt tottaly serious with woods, becuase the best had been used.

I'd have to say:

1. Holyfield 2-5 in last 7 fights and boxing as poorly as him can lead to serious brain damage. he is at the biggest health risk in the group. why continue to box when youve done it all

2. rice. its painful to watch this guy play after what he meant to millions world wide. lacks the strength, speed and agility of the modern day reciever.

3. brunell. wouldnt even make a good back up. lacks zip, accuracy and good descion making (which is probably caused from poor zip/accuracy).

LOL, wtf. why do you guys keep saying lebron james? he has improved tremendously this year. I was very critical of him last year (trust me when I say very), but I watched a good chunk of the saturday afternoon game vs. the wiz and I was quite impressed. the guy is the total package and he is still just a teen
