winbet- are you saying you dont think the bengals have a chance sunday? remember the first game Bengals had them, horrid PI call screwed them.

Just my 2 cents - I think Winbet is looking for a few good reasons why the Bengals are a play. Personally I lke the resurgent Bengals to pull the upset, getting the 4 point is gravy. The Bengals have won two straight and three of four, allowing just 13 points total in their last two games. They should hold over the hill Jerome Bettis down and give new star Ben Roethlisberger plenty of trouble. Big Ben was just 10-of-16 for 134 yards last week. This is the biggest game in the Marvin Lewis era for the Bengals. Go Bengals.

Why the Bengals will win?

The defense has stepped it up after Tony Williams injury(which has been a huge blessing in disguise, this guy's play has been very subpar) insert 2nd year man Langston Moore and rookie Matthias Askew(Askew a 4th rounder who came out as a JR, if he stays for his senior year, he is a first rounder). These guys are now in the DT rotation and are both playing way better than Williams, Moore is playing better than any DT. Also insert rookie Robert Geathers in at DE, the last 2 games he has been real tough getting a sack in each game and a forced fumble in one.

Then you have what I think is the best corner tandem in the league Tory James and Deltha O Neal, O Neal has been a huge steal this year in the trade from Denver, the guy is a legit pro bowler and both might end up making it. James is a lock with his league leading INTs. O " Neal has been so good that I got a custom jersey of him, #24, thats the main reason. I think the Bengals may want to lay off blitzing Ben and make him throw into a 7 or 8 man drop. The bengals must contain the running game, which I think they can. If Staley gets a bunch of carrie,s they will be looking to strip, they stripped him twice last game.

The Bengals offense hasnt been too great, but it has had so many chances to be better, Palmer has missed Johnson open deep at least 10 times this year, after he had beaten his man by a good 4-6 yards. I think this week they will hook up a la the Denver game.
