Living here in Virginia, I would love to see the VCU Rams upset Wake Forest. In fact, it almost happened last year in the first round of the NCAA tourney...
However, VCU is rebuilding and has lost their 2 best players from last year's team (Dominique & Troy), and with one of their better players being very questionable tonight with Mononucleosis, namely Doles, VCU has virtually no chance to win this game.
And with the season being so early, and With VCU already losing to a DIVISION 2 SCHOOL (Va Union), I suspect they will get blown out...
My 2 cents...

Sharp players will lay this number if they believe the line should be higher.
Most bookmakers I know will also tell you that when a line gets to this level, it is much more difficult for them to adjust.
WHY?
Well, for starters, the scrubs will enter the game at some point but when and how much playing time they get is anyone's guess...
What makes this game so special for me personally is that I follow this team closely and I WANT them to win but they have NO SHOT...
They have many new players that aren't used to being together on the court and will need at least 4-6 weeks before they start playing at a higher level...
Until then, VCU has and will continue to experience growing pains proven by the fact that they have already LOST TO A DIVISION 2 SCHOOL and they needed an Overtime to beat a lousy American U at HOME...
