Dante- you have to be kdding me? YOu dont think Chad Johnson should have done a touchdown dance(which was extremely tame) after scoring that touchdown, which was a tremdendous catch) Then Kelley Washington also scored a go ahead TD to go up 14-10. The bengals were 4-5 at the time too, not 3-7, not that that makes a difference, but anyway.

It isnt unfuckinreal- I can get some game film out of Steelers doing TD dances and going on and losing the game in past years. Pretty easily.

well id rather see a guy celebrating a TD for a 3-7 team than to see, say a 7-3 team celebrating for making a routine tackle at the 20 on the opening kickoff return.

Every team is guilty of this. Just emotion doing what you love to do.

Matt was kind enough to point out to me last year that Bobby Knight even allows such in comparison.

oh for the days when barry sanders would run for a 50 yard touchdown, after juking 3 or 4 db's out of their jocks, then hand the ball to the ref and go to the sidelines.

i'd say we are more likely to see a brawl worse than indy/det than we are to see those days return.

matt....I agree with you that it was a great catch but the dance was not tame...it was some kind of LONG dance I can not describe it ...and im sure you can dig up some film of that what im saying is if your 3-7 NO TEAM , no matter who you are should be doing that WTF are you celebrating?? Just my opinion

They were 4-5 and juist scored a TD to go ahead in front of the best team in football. Its a good thing the Bengals dont have robots out there anymore, they have people who actually love the game and try hard.

I will describe the dance for those who didnt see it. He punched like he was giving body blows or something, then kind of turned and did teh same thing. Here is the funny thing, total running time. 4 seconds!!!! I just pulled the tape. 4 seconds. It wasnt bad at all. It ran from 31:21 to 31:25 on my tape. I even double checked to make sure my tape wasnt messed up and timed it using my computer clock. 4 seconds. Now I will grant you, that he may have went longer or did something else with it if the players wouldnt have got to him and tackled him and stuff, but what took place was extremely tame.

I just watched Kelley Washington's dance. He scored the TD for the 4-5 team to give them a 14-10 lead over the 8-1 Steelers. His dance was 6 seconds and his dance is very strange. It is called the squirrel he does it every time he scores a TD.
