What time zone is CR in ?

Country seems small enough to be in one zone ! I thought they should be Pacific.

Some seem to claim even Eastern, or Central. I feel geographically it must be Mountain , at worst, more like Pacific. I can't buy Central, let alone Eastern ! It can't be Eastern time ! Not unless time there has no logic.

What time is it in CR ?

equivalent of our Central Time: Greenwich -6... & no daylight savings time...

Ok, still adjusted it seems at least an hour off. Whatever ! I knew time was funky. I feel better now. I'm not going nuts. CR is a good 3 zones off of East coast, 2 minimum !. Some books tell me CR is is in same time zone as Eastern US, that bothers me !

Geographically they're just west, almost touching that eastern zone parallel-- they could well choose to be in the Eastern zone, along with Colombia, etc., instead of the same as the rest of Central America & Mexico....

Florida's split by that parallel, they could certainly have chosen Central.... the problem lies because our East coast is diagonal, not vertical...
