I've got 4 hours until my lunch break, where I will head straight to Best Buy to get the U2 cd. My buddy has heard it on the internet and tells me it might be the best one yet. I've been waiting for this day for a long time.

I've resisted the urge to play it early on the net, because that would be like opening presents on Dec 20. So you're a U2 fan too, Fish? Awesome.

i was listening to a local sports talk radio show here in dallas this morning. they were playing some cuts off the album as well as a live performance from one of their recent concerts. songs sounded awesome and warrant a trip to the music store after work. who says we cant celebrate christmas in november :103631605

I just got back from Best Buy...Its always hard to tell just how much you like a new CD the first couple times you hear it....If this is anything close to the last one that will be amazing...

My top 3 in no order

Achtung Baby, Joshua Tree , All that You Can't leave behind...

I'm there in one hour. I had the same reaction to the last one. I rarely like a CD the first time I listen to it, but seemed to like most songs on that one the first time. I'm pumped to get my hands on this one. Here's my top 3, so far.

1. Joshua Tree
2. All That You Can't Leave Behind
3. War

I have to tell you, after listening to the whoel thing, there are probably 3 great songs and the rest are filler on the thing.

Vertigo, Sometimes you can't make it on your own, and one step closer..

Pretty dissapointing, no where near that excitement of the first listen to Achtung baby or even rattle N hum

I have to admit, my first time thru the Album, I don't feel its as good as the last one, but we will see....I didn't think Vertigo was going to be one of the best songs!!??

Illini- You don't have 'Achtung' in your top?

If I had to pick just one that would be it...Top to bottom that disc has no weakness... "Rooftop to the basement" lol :suomi:

J-Man-Achtung Baby is definitely good music, but I never liked it as much as those other 3. I never connected with it emotionally like I did with the others.
