How often do you play FUTURES?

Curious to know how often you all play FUTURES?

If you've been playing them for years, how have you fared?

I was reluctant to play them in the past, not wanting to tie up my money for extended periods of time, but I have since learned there is some money to be made in futures.

I hit my first future when the Red Sox won the World Series.

I have recently played some NFL futures

Any input?

I do not play futures as much as I would like, but if you have the time and money, I think futures are nice opportunities. There is a poster around by the name of mgspooky who plays alot of futures.

I should do it more often. I seem to be much better at futures than other ventures. The issue is holding your money up for a long period. You need the proper bankroll.

Sherman, I played my first ever future this NFL season..I took Falcons over 9 wins @ +450. My mom went to Vegas and I gave here a grand to put on this future at Hardrock.

I'm going to keep the ticket and cash it at the Bash....play money.

+450, that doesn't seem correct.

Don't play futures just because you think the proposition will happen. If you think the play through, you can do often do as well or much better by doing more typical wagers. However, now and then you will see a future or prop that presents tremendous value, often when the number is significantly off-market, and that is when it is worth taking the shot. But as a general rule, only play the future when it is really ******* good.
