...in back-to-back nights!

Wow, something in the water in Iowa City?

PS- Iowa starting guard Pierre Pierce was carried off the court after the game with a severe ankle problem.

CHECK STATUS FOR MAUI CHAMPIONSHIP GAME as he is major contributor to this team.

If Pierce is unavailable, Iowa could get destroyed.
That's the wrong attitude to have :nono5: Looking at his response at the end of the game I doubt he plays.

Some pressure off Alfords back ... tough, gritty team but that Pierce is a liability IMO.

Pierce apparrently only has a moderate sprain to his ankle.

His status is probable, but his range of movement will be limited I would presume.

It does appear that Iowa will indeed be playing North Carolina, as the TAR HEELS are leading Tennessee by over 20 points in the 2nd half of the other semifinal game of the MAUI INVITATIONAL.

Fish -- who's that white two guard? He's a fine player -- very composed out there.

That would be Jeff Horner, a very very fine ballplayer with a great shooting touch.
