I hear you JJ ... you'd think they'd have taken a more in touch local (Eminem,Kid Rock, Obie Trice, Uncle Kracker, White Stripes)

even washed up Bob Seger would have better

Bay City Rollers would of been better, I heard some stuff some of the guys are doing from that great band and it is good

Personally I'd rather watch JJ jump around on a trampoline naked than that halftime show. But that's just me.

im old school, liked it when the marching bands took the field and nobody needed a "name" concert. it was just about the game.

On the good side, aside from us in need of a backdoor cover miracle .. there was little reason to stay tuned in for the half time bore let alone the second hapless.

The NFL made a point to tone down the halftime shows. Destiny's Child is the halftime act in the second game.


We really needed Ted Nugent, he is from the area. Even better would have been KISS, since they are a local fav too. Heck, is J Geils still around.
