Jason White and Adrian Peterson and both having great seasons and along with Linehart are just about the only first place votes to be placed. Most writers have these 3 neck and neck and there will be a split with White/Peterson votes. Assuming USC wins their final game, Leinhart will be the winner and possibly even if they lose. Peterson is a freshman and that hurts him. White is a great player but won last year and Peterson has taken away his star power. Leinhart plays for the #1 team at the key position and many sports writers will vote for him because of that. He's a LOCK!!!
