I voted for Pat Tillman. In an age of Pro Sports riddled with athelete the likes of Ron Artest.It is time to vote for a real hero.Agree or disagree with the war there is a clear distinction of what a hero is like Pat Tillman and the phonies like Artest who we get to comfortably watch and wager on everyday.

Artest is apparently a great guy off the court and EVERYONE he's ever played with swears up and down that he's a great guy. Gotta be a reason for that.

Apparently the guy gives a lot to the homeless and gives his time to charities. Not condoning his activities and I agree with the punishment... Just saying... We don't need to crucify him on a daily basis.

Funny you mention that WR...When Ron Artest broke into the NBA they ran a piece on him back in his old neighborhood , and giving back to his neighbohood...And this is before Artest even made alot of money...I remember thinking it was a big gesture on his part because it was a huge portion of his salary and at that point Artest was a nobody who had no idea how much money he would make....

I have often thought back to that...
