betcris parlay calculator WTF????????????????

Check out these parlay odds at betcris!! How can they get away with this?? I mean most people might not even notice. To preface the story, the first bet is a 2 team parlay for $10 with buying 1/2 point on UTEP. I used $10 to make it simple! Of course, when i put in $200 parlay the results were the same. Notice how the first example pays $24 for the 2 team parlay. That is about correct since we bought 1/2 point.

The next bet is a 5 team parlay with moneylines involved. I think that even before looking everyone here would expect the 5 teamer to pay SUBSTANTIALLY more. Of course the moneylines were very high, but I would expect at least a payoff of around $40-45 or so. Actually I am not sure since most books dont offer moneylines this high and I have never parlayed them.

But the payout below is LOWER than the 2 team parlay!!!!!!!!!!:WTF: :ughhh: :messed: :Countdown

How is this possible??????? Any input would be appreciated! I guess that betcris is not the book to bet parlays with!

Seems impossible these numbers!!!! How do you explain this??

And I am sure that most people would respond, well it is stupid to parlay these huge moneylines. Yes it is, but a friend of mine informed me of these odds and i had to see for myself. This is highway robbery when it comes to parlay odds!!!

By the way, my BIGGGG picks for the day are

UTEP -6.5
and OK STATE +4.5 or moneyline


Of course, UTEP is already losing at the moment

IM them, i know last week they were having problems with the parlay online...I couldn't get the software to take a parlay period!

That is very strange ! Has to be a glitch...

Well UTEP is losing now, so now i need Oklahoma State to win on the moneyline




One more strange thing, if I want to do a straight bet or parlay and after selecting which sports, if I press enter rather than clicking on continue, then the screen will show you no bets. I have never seen that and it is getting a little annoying as I will make that mistake about every other bet! I guess that I need to get used to them a little more as I havent used them in a long time before last week

Hard to say for sure w/ those small bet amounts you supplied, but:


Seems like they are rounding DOWN to the next dollar--

the examples with the -110 / -120 are missing 99.999999999999999 cents

the other ones: @ 36 cents..... AND IF to boot they snip off the end and/or round downthe multiplier, you may actually lose between one dollar & two dollars sometimes, as in this case:

the multiplier for -2600 is 0.038461538461538462 ........ what are they multiplying by? .03 , .038 , ???

The only other possibility is that their reduced vigs don't apply to parlays AND the adjusted vigs are not reflected on that parlay page... in such a case they could even be rounding up for you, who knows?

May be able to more easily confirm/decipher if you provide examples with high & odd bet amounts: say $123, $789.......

The EXACT same thing happened when i tried to bet these for $100 and $500. I only made it $10 to make it eaqsier for everyone

so they're keeping the loose change by rounding down, only paying even dollar amounts..........
