I recently started playing at CRIS and have tripled my bankroll there in approximately 2 weeks..I dont bet huge amounts so I doubt its really because of me that they have decided to change policy..I was just kiddin.... However ,these guys are scared of people like me who continue to pound these lines and take advantage of their bad linesmakers and lack of preparation...

They have as of yesterday stopped allowing players to parlay NBA quarters....What a joke...OLYMPIC has no problem with this and even offers moneylines on 1 st Quarters..I have also tripled + my bankroll there as well n the last few weeks but no change from them...

Its a no win situation for the player, if you lose they win your money...if you win (which few do) they change the rules on you....WTF?

MODS: please dont move this as CRIS is an advertiser, I am simply notifing players that CRIS is no longer allowing NBA quarter parlays...Thanks:nono5: .......CRIS will you come in here and tell players that bet this way that they are smarter and sharper than anyone you employ?

I have proof of bets and balances so please dont question the truthfulness of this as it will turn up nothing and be a waste of your time on a busy SUnday...

How come it is not possible to parlay NBA quarters anymore?

Thanks Brad

RESPONSE:

Per management decision you can only do a straight bets for NBA quarters.

Pete,I'm not sure that not offering a certain type of bet can be considered cheating. They paid you what you won.

Pete Rose,

Just because CRIS advertises here doesn't mean we won't allow a valid point of view from you...

However, it's my belief that a sports book can RUN their store however they choose, and if you don't like their rules, then choose someone else...

I see nothing WRONG with what they did but I do understand how that could piss you off...

I also don't like it when sports books change their rules midstream. I'd have preferred them to do it BEFORE the season began...

But, CRIS is a QUALITY sports book with a great rep...

I do wonder how others feel?

My 2 cents...

JUDGE...

You are right ..CHEATING is the wrong word perhaps...

I still have not requested a payout but I have no doubts in CRIS and my recieving of payment...I will keep money in there and continue to teach them a lesson but not to the same extent...There is still one thing they are vulnerable too in regards to quarters and will exploit this until they change the rules again....

SHRINK...

I will say CRIS is a safe book and players will have no problems getting their money....After looking back, you are correct... valid complaints do not get moved...

I m just dissapointed that a big name book is pulling the shoot on the sharp players..THis is ironic because DOUGJ posted a thread about CRIS this week to which I expressed my opinions and was flamed a bit...BTW, DId you get my email...

Bottom line is Quarter betting in hoops especially is much easier to hit. This is why most shops don't have quarter action.

As much as it kills me I am forced to lay -115 on CRIS Quarter lines....Thats another thing OLYMPIC is -110...much tighter lines though

I figure CRIS has been getting beat here and they are reduicing their risk. Good move by them if so. Better to see them taking care of the home than moving out of it.

I have been saying for weeks the qtr lines are the softest, I'm not surprised by it...Remember too, a couple years ago qtr lines didn't even really exist...1St Qtr NBA lines do seem easier to beat as well as football qtr lines.

PRJ, atleast you can still bet them straight up.

I hope I read wrong.

A book telling a customer they refuse to take action on parlays?

Wow, now I have seen it all.

nba quarter parlays............. take 5,000 bettors out of that maybe a 100 of them might parlay nba quarters........and of those 100 most will be sharp........just not a good prop for the book............not enough action and not the right kind.........jmo
