Lander we still have to win the games against the 1st graders.

Plus the Birds did beat Baltimore and Cleveland (ok Cleveland sucks).

2 losses in 2 years to the AFC: last year to New England (won Super Bowl) and this year at Pittsburgh (10-1 team). I think they are a pretty good team and in this league after so many years of sucking we can't take anything for granted.

Hopefully we can get a hold on one of these:

Sportbet not for nothing but last year counts for zero. You had a very different team. Sorry but to keep making references to last year's record against the AFC makes you sound desparate to put a more positive spin on the Eagles. This year they beat a depleted Ravens team late 15-10 and a weak Browns team in OT.. The Steelers came very close to shutting them out. Can the Eagles win the SB sure, and I like their chances of getting there. If they were my team I would like to see them tested by some of the better AFC teams between now and the playoffs. As much as it might hurt a loss between now and the playoffs is not the end of the world.

Well Willy the only team we're going to see between now and the Super Bowl from the AFC is Cincicrappy so I doubt they are going to pose much of a threat (if we even play 1/4 of our starters in that one at the end of the year).

They are just going to have to make sure they have learned from their mistakes in the playoffs the last 3 years and get there before they win the thing. I mean they haven't been there so even if they get there I have to be concerned about the first time thing.

The Birds will be ok because I think you have enough talent on offense, defense and special teams to win this thing. They are much better this year than last year in all 3 facets so the AFC argument is pretty much a joke (they aren't just beating the NFC teams they play they are blowing them out). There aren't many teams in the NFL period that can do it week in and week out year in and year out with the personnel changes the Birds have had.

They're an unstoppable force right now. McNabb has had one really bad game all year AT Pittsburgh against the hottest team in the NFL at the time. The way that the Redskins challenged Pitt today puts a lot more stock in the Eagles beating themselves in that game. Trotter is a big difference in the middle of that defense.

The Birds will be fine...they will be there...they are the best team in the NFL I don't think that's even worth arguing now.
