My friend is considering taking a job with them and wanted to know about the quality of the site first. Anyone know anything about them good or bad? I took a quick look at the site they have -108 lines and claim to have been in business for 12 years but i have never heard of them.

Sting knows them. I asked on the site about them and he said something to the effect of they cut sharps quicker that capitiol hill spends on pork barrel, also said they were ok. This was several months ago though.

how is the pay in the online sportsbook career? I always wondered.

What would he be doing, and where is the book based?

any decent money is not worth the amount of work and stress you deal with over there in this industry. Thats what Ive been told by a guy who was a high up in one of the biggest offshore books.

I had a job offer by ESB in the late 1990's ..

took the offer as I just had a big ass fight with the girlfriend and figured living in Montego Bay, Jamaica would be cool ... think base was 30k and everything payed for .. 2 homes overlooking the Caribbean Ocean ... drivers to take ya back and forth to the office .... food stocked and maids

Not worth it ... they expect ya to work like flappin 20 hrs a day ... the office in downtown Montego Bay in the "Free Zone" and in the office were like 6 of us Caucasians and 400 Jamaicans .... guards with machine guns that would check vans going into the compound ... and Jamaicans REAL GLAD to see white folks in the office ...

Man, everything shuts down like @ 5pm as far as the stores go ... no 7-11's where ya can run in and get a 6 pack ... no American newspapers and place I stayed in had basic cable that was always on some flappin animal channel by some dudes from Africa that would masturbate watching Cheetahs run ...

Not a lot of fun ... would not do it again but would good to experience a 3rd world enviroment to make ya appreciate that things are pretty good here in the USA

Doc M, I get your point, yet most places(even Hou and SA..two of the US' largest cities, yet weak on nightlife vs their top 10 peers) come off as third-world when in comparison to Austin's amenities..with it's Kenichi, Uchi, Roy's, Gueros, El Arroyo, Driskill Grill, Threadgills, Amy's, Waterloo Icehouse & Records, Continental Club, Z-Tejas, Scholz Garden, Las Manitas, Cooper's in Llano, Stubbs, La Zona Rosa, Hotel San Jose, Oyster Cove, 5th & 6th Sts,etc..

Baus, Montego Bay is located in Jamaica's "international free trade zone"/import-export area, but don't ask any Jamaican what they think, they'll tell you how the IMF and international lenders are hosing them like Satan..where's Bono when you need him?
