CC stands for Corpus Christi, a branch of Texas A & M, they are a darn good team that beat Fla. St. and TCU in the same tournament. No shame for the Monarchs for this road loss.

Well Corpus Christi is considered a community college guys! Enrollment must be about 6000, but that includes AT LEAST half part time students! I would think. Most other schools in TExas have between 25,000-45,000. They are considered a community college with limited 4 year degree plans

HEre is their year long schedule, trust me that are not worth a ****!!!!

This doesnt show me much about Old DOminion as far their talent goes. But does it really matter, I mean we are talking about Old Dominion here! No one outside their own area code even knows that the college exist, unless you are a gambler that is!

Texas A & M-CC has a respected well-known coach. Their schedule is a reflection of their independent status. None of the "name" schools want to play them, because they know it will reflect badly on them if they lose. Basically, they are in Division 1 purgatory because they are new to it and they haven't hooked up with a conference. I imagine they would like to get in the Southland.
Because they have a hard time filling schedule space, they are left to play teams in similar position. I'm pretty sure if you went there you would get an A & M degree, putting them on the level of an IPFW or an IUPUI.

Or well you get a degree that says Texas A&M, I know that. But the degree in the business world would be second rate versus the College Station version, which I have by the way!! GIG EM AGGIES!!!!!! I have seen the school in person. Keep in mind that I do live in Texas!

I could be a good thing down the road in the form of an extra point or so for ODU when they play their next board game. (Only if you know who says ODU is a play).

There is a misprint on one of the Box Scores above...

This is clearly not an embarrassment for ODU. Corpus Christi BEAT FLA STATE @ FLA. STATE and they beat TCU as well..

When Corpus Christi played ODU on Cristi's HOME COURT last night, it was ODU'S 3rd straight ROAD game in 4 nights. The truth of the matter is that ODU got hosed badly by the officials as ODU shot 5 Foul shots for the entire game compared to 32 for the HOME TEAM!!!

And still ODU was ahead with just under 4 minutes to go...

Talk about HOME cooking????

But, ODU WON this tournament against the likes of FLA STATE, KENT STATE and TCU being part of it!!!

Hardly an embarassment considering that ODU was only able to play ONE game on their HOME COURT whereas most of the other teams were awarded TWO HOME GAMES during this tourney...

Rumor has it Shrink was spotted last week hot-tub'ing with two ODU players, and three ODU cheerleaders. Anticipation is now higher than ever for the Good Doctor's next pick. On-site Books are bracing themselves.
