What's wrong with the "Search" on this site?

I made 2 posts a few hours ago.

Just did a search under my handle, and neither of them came up.

Is this feature working correctly?

What key words did you use and what froum did you search?

I clicked on "Search" above, a drop down appeared, I typed in Scooter1, there is no place on the dropdown to specify a specific forum, and it brought up 2 posts of mine from months ago.

scooter - try the "advanced search" link at the bottom of the search dropdown

Click on Search >>>Advance search>>> Enter Scooter1 in user name field>>> click on Search now>>> http://forum.therx.com/search.php?searchid=38382
