I know people talk about exercise as an antedote to depression, but I am living proof that this and only this works to battle depression. I have battled it for years and thought about anti-depressant medication, therapy, alcohol, etc. to combat it. However, the only 1 thing that really works is exercise. If you work out diligently, the depression goes away. End of story. People who try all of these stupid meds without giving exercise a true shot are really missing the boat. I know I am telling people what most already know, but I think that there are plenty out there who really haven't given exercise a real shot, and I am trying to help, even if it is only one person. Have a great day, and let's win!!:103631605  :fballch3: :shootbb:

true. .just take some Omega-3. depression and a lot of other mental illnesses are just a result of epa and dha defecient brain cells.

something like paxil, will make you worse off then when you started from side effects such as adverse weight gain, sexual dysfuntion, and social seperation.

.........you are all correct and precisely why I drink beer daily, eat salmon weekly, and walk miles daily.

However, still suicidal.

No biggie though, and will not follow through with it(suicide).

One more thing also. 18 busch beers and 30-40mg of valium will leave you wondering who ate that Box of cereal when you awake in the AM.

I am working on it Fishhead. I am working on it, but it is just one day closer to the funeral parlor for all of us. Hopefully we can hang on long enough to see Coach Knight break the NCAA win record.

Man, I am getting depressed. :drink:

But, I am on the wagon for now.

Run numbers at your local watering hole...............it will make you feel better knowing you are providing a valuabe commodity to the community that the government prohibits the "average middle class blue-collar worker" from doing.

Hang in there Son

You know what and this works..........

I every other week go outside and wear my green 3 piece suite and just shake hands with everyone I see and ask how they are doing, very easy and a feel good thing

Good Luck (the Coach)...JJGoldisaBUM

Having a dog really helps. It won't bring the girl back, but a dog is the most loyal friend you can have.

Sounds like some serious cases of PLOM disease going on. Poor Little ole me. I saw this piece on Sportcenter about this kid with Ms or something. Could hardly walk and all the kid wanted was to be on a team.. The cross country coach took him on. This kid took 40 minutes to finish the race most finished in 12. He fell down repeatedly but finished. Great story. All kinds of storys like that in sports

Waah Waaah Wah. Quityerbitching people. Btw, get in shape without weight by former Iowa wrestler program. www.MattFurey.com. Yes, I am in excellent shape, round is a shape.
