Let me first say that everyone here involved with running all the contests do an unbelievable job. I have run several fantasy leagues, golf pools, pick 5 contests around town to know what kind of effort these guys have to put in.

What about coming up with something starting either Jan 1 or at some point in January and running all year to find an RX world champion ?

I would help out if needed.

Could be a bankroll contest , a unit contest , a win % contest.

Run it all the way from NBA to MLB to NFL ,including the college sports.

I imagine their are enough guys here that would be around long enough to play.

Maybe even put up a little something or have Pinnacle or one of the books sponsor it.

Anybody ??

My idea would be to have a tournament w/ an entry fee. We just need somebody to hold the money.

Not interested unless there's at least a $1k buyin. Otherwise...what's the point? Ya know?

my first thought was that maybe Pinnacle ( seeing how they hold the top spot here and are the first words out of most people's mouths when someone comes here and asks "where do i post up" ) could offer a deal for us.

if we had a 100 guys post up 200 bucks each there , maybe they could throw 10 grand into a pot for us to play for.

i dont know, i just thought this place needed a World Champion...

Between his Guaranteed Locks and ID's Games of the Year we had the ultimate championship pair. That's like pocket aces in Hold Em!

Sportsbet,

Anthony throws milions away in one night. No way he has time to mess with this nickel and dime contest.

J man said their were 2800 guys hanging around here last weekend. Gotta be atleast 100 guys who already have money at Pinnacle that wouldnt mind
re-uping.

Maybe they wouldnt want to get involved.

I just wanted to throw the idea out there with a month or so to put it together.

this is a worthless concept unless you could somehow miraculously put up 500k for grabs to attract the guys who dont post day in and day out.

otherwise you arent capping a true champ you can just go to wagerline and sort by all sports and tell us what you get.

but general would be my dark horse becuase hed pick up so many units in the WNBA itd give him a huge statistical edge :drink:

It is a good one actually...it's just that most everyone who really belongs at the top probably aren't going to bother unless there's money involved. Most of us aren't attention whores and could care less about the "title" of "Greatest handicapper" :)

world runner-

you like Jacksonville St ? down to 9, still worthy of play? Wofford played right along with Tennesse, that scares me, but wofford is pretty awful as a fav of 8 or more.. 5-15 ATS last 20 when favored by 8 or more

point taken W/R .

i was looking more for a fun contest with some cash prizes and a "so called" RX champ.

i figured their were more than enough guys who visit here on a daily basis or several times a week basis to put something together.

attention isnt something i'm looking for either.

i just try and keep it light.

I think Wofford's defense (or lack of) keeps Jax St in the game till the End. Gives Jax st a really good chance of winning the game outright. I'd say it's probably worth taking for a regular sized play.

I'm going to put them in a teaser with Indiana and Columbia I believe.

C Michigan another big dog worth looking at.

Wofford is 0-9 after two consecutive covers in the last 3 years.
