Some bowl team, or teams more likely, will have players suspended from their bowl game for one thing or another.

It never fails!

Rarely happens during the season, but come bowl season, the *hit always hits the fan.

The other thing I've been watching is the "We're too good for this bowl game."

In the past 4-5 years with this bcs mess coaches are always coming out angry (without having time to think before they speak) and they claim they get shafted. Sure enough they come out and lose Straight up and definately do NOT COVER THE SPREAD.

Go back and look... It never fails.

110% CORRECT!!

I love the bowl season for wagering purposes.

One of my strongest suits for profit taking.

PS- Need it after the lackluster NFL season I have compiled.

Very true , there will be one automatic winner...look for the clues..

"We're too good for this bowl game." <--------- Which team will likely have this reaction?

Wasn't it Texas (without looking it up) that got waxed because they felt they were too good?

Last years:

Washington State 28 at Texas 20 -9.5 -110
Iowa 37 at Florida 17 -4 -110
Clemson 27 at Tennessee 14 -5 -110

USC put up though.... and covered against UM.

I'd have to find the other years. The reaction isn't just from the coaches... Watch how the fans and players react too.

Dont forget too... for 5 weeks leading up to the Big 12 and National championship game... The media and OK fans told us over and over and over that the 03 Sooners were the best team EVER.

Maybe it was 2 yrs ago for Texas...there's always one or two...

Could California be that team this year? I would say NO because they're not accustomed to alot of success...they may be the opposite (go out and try to destroy)

Cal definately falls into this theory. Now...I'm not saying I think Pitt is going to go out and cover... But this definately falls into the system.

I'd say Texas does too. Mack Brown needs to stay off the TV. TX won't cover.

Miami fans already talking about how they're going to roll Florida. UF wins by a touchdown. :D

V Tech will be ready I think...This team may be the team that got the most rom its talent...Beamer comes to a new league and by many was expected to finish last....And they win the whole thing! ACC was a good competitive league this year, but no great team...

Va Tech beat out- FSU MIA VA CLEM NCST MD WAKE, all expected to finish higher...

Tennessee Vols are the best candidate for this category. they are 1-6 (bowls)since 1998.

This year is different as far as attitude goes. Nobody picked us to make it to the SEC championship game. We were picked to 3rd in the SEC East. We have the youngest team in the SEC and are excited to be where we are. We somehow kept ourselves in the Auburn game, even though they ran/threw up and down the field.
If we lose to A&M, it will be b/c of inexperience or lack of talent, but not attitude for once. We have been banged up all year with 15 starters missing 60 starts, FYI Auburn has 5 players that have missed 6 starts. They are one of the few teams that have stayed healthy this year. Unfortunately they are getting screwed out of a chance at the national championship.
Look for Auburn to put a hurting on Virginia Tech

UT @ UF next season is going to be a huge game. I'm thinking about going again. Maybe this time there won't be a hail mary BS in the last seconds of the first half ;)

The Swamp is a good place to watch a game, great college atmosphere, the fans aren't as bad as you would expect, if you are an opposing fan. I thought that I may have trouble getting out of there, but they were respectful, as was I out of fear.

I went to the 2001 game at the swamp when the vols won 32-30. Spurrier's last game. Yall may laugh now, but Rex Grossman was one of the most impressive QB's that I have seen in person (except Peyton). He had the strongest arm that I have ever seen live, Favre like, we lost the next week to LSU in the SEC championship game in Atlanta. I went there as well and decided that LSU has some of the best fans in the country, I would have to rank the Auburn fans up there also.

thanks
