I had the Seahawks to close a three team parlay, and +3 in a teaser.

:hanging:

The good news is, whatever I lost tonight on the Seahawks, I will win back next week putting it on Minnesota. I would play Minnesota anything less than -14.

It took 2 miracle plays at the end to lose that one. Not 1.

Think of it this way. Your worst beat was my best win. I bet the Dallas Moneyline. Sitting pretty up 10, heartbroken down 10 with 2 minutes left. Buying T-Bones tonight. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

You dont know what a bad beat is. Try these two for size.

1) 1986 World Series Game Six. I had the Sox for the game and series :hump:

2) Bills-Titans playoff game about 5 years ago. :hump:

I cant go on. I have to work tomorrow and I need my sleep so I dont need the nightmares.

1986 WS is pretty bad. Not necessarily because the Mookie Wilson play, but b/c the Sox had 2 out and nobody on up by 2 or whatever. Still, up by 10 with 2 minutes. Has there ever been a comeback like that in the NFL?

Although it is late and at my old age my memory is rusty, but I assure you there have been comebacks like this before in the NFL...

I am sorry for your bad beat!

This image will haunt me for ever. I was young and out of control and lost $20,000 on this. Your right Spades, 2 out nobody on...I was spending the money and then 15 minutes later I was suicidal. Not joking.

BTW, I didnt have $20,000 to pay the man so I had to go to my father to lend me the money. Worst day of my life.

Olympic normally would have the line up first but nothing so far. Usually they will wait to see if there were any significant injuries that might affect the side or total. I would expect to see a number early Tuesday morning.

The beauty of gambling is that those that took Dallas are under the immpression that they earned a well deserved win. Those that had Seattle think that Seattle should have won but ran into some bad breaks. Either wayyou look at it, no matter what side you were on, you had a shot up until the end. That's what makes it fun. So close yet so far .

If thats the worst beat you've ever had you are doing well. A few years ago I had Providence +6 trailing by 5 with the ball at mid court and only .2 seconds left not 2 mind you .2. For whatever reason Georgetown contested the inbounds and Providence couldn't get the ball in so they called time out. Oops no timeouts left technical foul 2 free throws and guess what ... G'town covers.

Then there was an NFL game 1 time covering by 1 with 1 second left my team takes the kickoff and tries that lateral crap and goes all the way BACK through the endzone for a safety.
