I have always done the Fedex check with them and had no problems. But I did a neteller withdrawal this time, and I was afraid, based on comments on this forum. I had heard horror stories about how they take forever to pay by neteller. But I got my payout in about 30 hours with no problems. Just wanted to give them props, as I happen to like this book, in spite of all the bashing they usually take.

It's no Pinnacle 4 minute payout, but I was happy with it. I put it in Sunday afternoon at about 4pm and got it at about 10pm on Monday night. I was afraid it would be a week, based on what some people had said.

10 days and counting for a Neteller payout for me.

Probably a perfectly logical reason, though ... I'm sure that when I contact them today, they will tell me that my account is being audited for the fifth time this year, and tell me that I need to fax them my ID and CC statements FOR THE FIFTH TIME THIS YEAR (the identical ID and CC statements that I've already faxed to them 4 times this year).

It's bad enough that they give people 4 or 5 of these bogus audits, and make you submit the exact same documention 4 or 5 times (even after you remind them that they've already got this documentation on file) ...

But what's worse, is that IF YOU DON'T CONTACT THEM, they won't even let you know that your account is being audited (they always SAY that they sent you an E-Mail telling you that you're being audited, but they NEVER actually send the E-Mail). Theoretically, unless I contact them to make an enquiry about my payout, they would never send me my money.

Halifax, I don't know you, so I can only speculate. But you probably did something that caused suspicion in their eyes. I've played with them for over a year, and made deposits by CC, neteller, and Western Union. I've gotten several checks by Fedex, and now this neteller withdrawal. They have never once asked me for ID. Their lines are pretty standard, and there's nothing really special about them. But I like them, and have never had a problem. I don't get bonuses from them, but just use them as one of my outs. They did have the best line on baseball futures, from what I could find.

I did two things that are taboo:

1. I won money, and
2. Requested a high 4-figure payout.

These are the same "mistakes" that I made the previous 4 times that they audited my account.

If they only audited my account once, I wouldn't have a complaint.

My complaint is that this is the 5th time that they've asked me for the same documents that they've already got on file ... that's not being security-conscious, that's just overkill (in an effort to piss off and frustrate certain winning customers into not playing there any more).

I don't know why they don't simply give people the boot if they don't want them playing there. Not sure ... maybe they want to be able to say that "We've Never Kicked Out a Punter for Winning".

One other note ... I don't think I'm much better than breakeven with SportsBook.com overall, so it's not like I've killed them for $50K or $100K ... I think it's just that they don't like people making big withdrawals.

-----------------------

Slash, the bonus is only 5%, so that's not one of the main reasons that I keep funds there. I certainly would not use them if I could only use 2 or 3 books, but I do like to keep some money there.

cautious

I am very cautious with this book for 2 reasons:

1. They have questionable business ethics.

2. It is not clear to me whether in fact they do have the financial backing of the parent sportingbet.com. My suspicion is that they are in an off-balance sheet vehicle or similar, enabling the parent to walk away from the situation should the need arise.

I keep my balance to within 2 decent winning bets at all times, I make a lot of small withdrawals to avoid these so-called audits.

Illini,

For sportsbook.com, that truly was a speedy payout. If you hvae never been audited, then my guess is that sportsbook.com is the only account you have with efs. Most players like my self and Hal who opened accounts at places linesmaker, and sports, and sportingbetusa and so forth have had our accounts audited on multiple occasions.

Most of the time, things move pretty smoothly. But when they don't, it could take weeks to resolve minor issues. What happens is that you have to contack customer service, and try to explain your proble. Then you hvae to hope that the person you spoke to understands the problem, and will send an email to the correct department to look into your problem. Then you have to wait 24 - 72 hours to get a response. And then you reposnd, and again have to wait another 24 - 72 hours. So because you can never speak directly to the person handling your issue, very small problems drag on forever.

That's scary. I only left $150 in there, so I'll tread water and take payouts often, if I should get up there again.
